- One possibilty is that if the mss is set too low, then the
- remote end (the one attached to the ethernet), will fragment large
- packets. I don't believe CUTCP knows how to handle fragmented packets,
- or at least has problems with them. (Please correct me if anyone knows
- I'm wrong) The solution is to set the mss on the slip link to 1500 or
- so...that way, the software won't need to fragment the packets. I
- realize this goes against what the RFC says (it suggests 1006), but it
- seems to work :) Hope this helps!
