- HI,
-
- I am currently using WINQVTNET and TRUMP on my PC and these work fine
- with the DEC EtherWORKS Turbo board and the NDIS MAC packet drivers
- that came with the board.
-
- I also have FTP software INc.'s ftp software and would like to use
- it with the same setup. Right now I have to reboot the system with
- a different config.sys file if i wnat to use this software. The way
- it has been set up (not by me) is that the config.sys file loads
- the ipcust and ifcust. I run the programs, dll, sch, depca -t 8, and
- netbios in sequence from a batch file. When i do this, WINQVTNET
- does not work, and gives an error message saying something like unsupported
- packet class. I figure if FTP software inc/'s programs would work with
- the NDIS driver, this problem may go away. Am I right here ??
-
- What do i need to do make it work with the NDIS packet driver ??
-
- Also, is there some good book that explains what a packet driver is,
- what does it do, etc. I have started reading Comer's book on TCPIP
- but it does not talk about how the software is put together to make
- it work on PC.
-
- Thanks for any responses,
