  13. I am currently using WINQVTNET and TRUMP on my PC and these work fine
  14. with the DEC EtherWORKS Turbo board and the NDIS MAC packet drivers
  15. that came with the board.

  17. I also have FTP software INc.'s ftp software and would like to use 
  18. it with the same setup.  Right now I have to reboot the system with
  19. a different config.sys file if i wnat to use this software.  The way
  20. it has been set up (not by me) is that the config.sys file loads
  21. the ipcust and ifcust.  I run the programs, dll,sch,depca -t 8, and
  22. netbios in sequence from a batch file.  When i do this, WINQVTNET
  23. does not work, and gives an error message saying something like unsupported
  24. packet class.  I figure if FTP software inc/'s programs would work with
  25. the NDIS driver, this problem may go away. Am I right here ??

  27. What do i need to do make it work with the NDIS packet driver ??

  29. Also, is there some good book that explains what a packet driver is,
  30. what does it do, etc.  I have started reading Comer's book on TCPIP
  31. but it does not talk about how the software is put together to make
  32. it work on PC.
