  11. Hi,
  12.    I am using NCSA Telnet 2.3.03 on PCs with Farallon PhoneNET cards.  In
  13. general it is working fine, but we often get the message:

  15. LTxmit: illegal parameter or parameters.

  17. This happens whenever I attempt to FTP into the PC, when someone tries
  18. to finger the PC and at other times for no apparent reason.  Does the
  19. appletalk driver have problems handeling data on other than port 23?
  20. When we get the message for no apparent reason, the performance is
  21. degraded.

  23. I also have a problem with the FTP of the same version.  On some machines
  24. I cannot FTP before running telnet.  If I attempt to FTP I get errors about
  25. not being able to initialise the network.
