  24. - RS6000 (AIX 3.1 and 3.2)  It's my gateway machine, and is correctly
  25. configured, as far as I am aware. I can stop this behaviour in the other
  26. non-gateway ones by turning ip forwarding & redirects off, (which are on by
  27. default, in a deliberate design decision by IBM, despite rfc 1122). AIX
  28. claims to run BSD 4.3 & now 4.4 networking code.

  30. - From memory, I think one was a Sun clone
  31. - Many were PC's (inferred from the MAC addresses), OS unknown
  32. Unfortunately (well, fortunately, really :) I can no longer see most since
  33. we have started to break our net up with cisco's.
