  12. PPP allows you to dynamically assign IP addresses to a connection.
  13. I have a UNIX host and would like to support up to 5 connections
  14. simultaneously.   Has anybody written a script that performs the
  15. necessary magic to grab an unused IP address from a pool and
  16. start the caller on the correct interface?

  18. I though about looking at the incoming pty number and making pty0 be
  19. IP address number 1, pty1 number 2, etc...  This simplistic approach
  20. simply has too many flaws to consider.  If you have overcome this problem
  21. in the past, I would sincerely appreciate hearing your solution.
