- Some days ago I posted a request for an overview of current standardisation
- efforts on security. Since a few people sent me mail asking me to forward
- them the results of my query, I thought the problem to be of general enough
- interest for an answer to be posted as well.
- Two kind souls independently pointed me to "Guide to Open Systems Security",
- a draft document from ISO/IEC JTC1/SC21/WG1. The overview I was looking for,
- is presented here. My version of this document is dated 1992-02-27, with
- reference ISO/IEC JTC1/SC21 N-6765. However, I guess newer versions exist,
- perhaps as an output document from the SC21 meeting in Ottawa last May.
- The document should be available from your "local" standards body.
