- It was my experience that when we raised the speed of a single modem
- within the bottom (lower) part of an A-LAB above 9.6 kbps that we lost
- the use of top half (4 LICs). The LAB contained ALL type 1 LIC. As a
- matter of fact, I believe that we actually had to disconnect the top 4
- LICs in order to even make use of the higher speed. (This was a test
- configuration never implemented.)
