- We have been using appletalk (both phonenet and ethertalk) on our campus for
- several years. Since we only have 100 nodes or so total I didn't see any
- benefits in switching to Phase 2 Appletalk when it came out. However, just
- to avoid some hassles, I'm begining to wonder if I should get Phase 2
- flowing. Our entire network consists of one zone scattered across 3
- fastpaths and several star controllers. Would switching to Phase 2 provide
- us with any benefits?
-
- Another problem I'm having is understanding the set up for Phase 2,
- specifically the part about the network range. Should I specify a range of
- 1-65279? Should all the fastpaths be set the same? And our Novell servers
- running netware for the mac? The phase 2 stuff is all pretty new to me, so
- any helpful hints would be greatly appreciated.
