  13. Along this thread about Seagate (I've personally had bad experiences with
  14. several ST225 that seemed to overheat. After all, they have *no* internal
  15. ventilation, so if they are mounted in a confined space, this may be the
  16. reason), I'd like to know what fellow-netters think of Maxtor. Some
  17. responses in the thread seem to indicate that they are OK, but can this
  18. be confirmed ? The drive that interests me is a Maxtor IDE 210 Mb that
  19. Hard Drive International sells at $499 (august '92 prices, over here
  20. (Europe), PC-MAG is a bit late.... ). Since I live across the Atlantic,
  21. I'd really hate to send it back for an exchange.  
  22. Last point :  can I trust HDI ? (any good or bad experiences ?)
