  15. Warning, this is a strange message !!

  17. A week or so ago, i had posted a request on the net for dynamic load
  18. balancing references. Since then i have been deluged with requests *FOR*
  19. the references i get (16 messages) but only 3 kind people have written
  20. back with any new info. It so happens that the references i have found
  21. haven't been at all relevant to our work.

  23. Please note that we am less interested in the (operating
  24. systems-like) scenario where we have tasks coming into
  25. processors following a distribution like in queueing systems.
  26. Rather want to find out how to quickly redistribute excess work
  27. on some (maybe a few) processors for specific
  28. processor-connectivities (mesh, hypercube, butterfly, ...  name
  29. your favourite architecture).
  30.  
  31. So if anybody reading this message has any references to share,
  32. please post it or email me. I will post a summary of all
  33. *informative* messages i receive.
