  10. I have recently converted from Decwindows (old) to Decwindows Motif and
  11. have a coupla questions.
  12.  
  13. 1. My screen background never comes up automatically. To get my choice of
  14. screen background (colours and pattern) from the session manager, I have to
  15. go into the options menu/screen background and change the configuration to
  16. something wrong, apply it, change it back to what I want, then apply it
  17. again. I have `Save Screen Manager'd many times, but my background doesn't
  18. come up automatically.

  20. 2. I have also changed my pointer shape and colours. This works EXCEPT when
  21. I go into any sort of menu, when my pink and black hand reverts to a black
  22. arrow.

  24. What am I doing wrong?

  26. Apart from these annoying things, I like most of the motif interface,
  27. particularly being able to customise my workspace button menus.
