- I feel this should be obvious, but I cannot find it.
- We have a need to arrange for single user access to a file. Multiple
- copies of the file can be arranged. We wish to check whether someone has
- file1.dat open; if so let's try file2.dat etc until we find an available
- copy.
- I've seen a function that determines whether a file is open by another
- user, but now I can't locate it. May be in th manual, but I can't find
- it.
- Suggestions welcome. I will summarize if it seems useful.
