- Hi folks,
-
- We have connected a DEC PC 433 running SCO and Open Desktop 1.1.1 and TCP/IP
- to a VAX running VMS V5.4 and Wollongong TCP/IP
-
- The problem is, the SCO box TCP seems to get slower and slower over the day and
- unplugging the ether from the box seems to fix it ???
-
- We've tried using CMU-TEK to the Wollongong TCP and it runs fine so we have
- sort of eliminated Wollongong ( :-) I never liked Unix anyway ...)
-
- Is there anything we can tune in the SCO box to stop this happening?
-
- BTW, we are using Thinnet going to a multi-port repeater to the main thickwire
- backbone. The SCO box is using a 3Com 3C503 Etherlink II card.
-
- Thanks in advance,
- Eoin.
