  24.     This use of dual passwords should not work, nor should it have
  25.     worked in the past.  Nor can I explain why you had this working.

  27.     The design of dual passwords is intended to prevent situtations
  28.     where one user can know or can see both passwords -- dual passwords
  29.     are intended for relatively high-security environments -- systems
  30.     where TWO individuals must be present in order to log in under a
  31.     specific username.

  33.     This dual-password design extends to areas like the specification
  34.     of DECnet access control: only one password can be specified, and
  35.     there is no way to include the secondary password.

  37.     If one person knows both of the passwords, the situation is little
  38.     different than using a single password that is the concatenation
  39.     of the password pair.  Use of one (longer) password is prefered
  40.     in this situation.
