  13. Hello,

  15. I am trying to find a VMS system service (or some other means) to set both
  16. the default device and directory programmatically.  I am aware of the 
  17. SYS$SETDDIR service, but this only operates on the default directory setting.
  18. I am looking for one call to do both (device and directory) as opposed to 
  19. having to do a redefinition of SYS$DISK using $SET_LOGICAL in conjunction with
  20. the $SETDDIR.  Does anyone know of an existing routine to do this?
