- I know I've asked this question before but I've since mislaid the
- response(s) I received and now I *really* need the info!
-
- First my configuration --
-
- VaxStation 2000
- VMS 5.5
- VWS 4.2 (or maybe 4.3)
-
- I need to redirect screen dump outputs to disk files (this I know how
- to do) and then convert the resulting files to other formats. I need
- to know what the format of these files are. I assume they are direct
- Sixel type files but from just eyeballing a dump output I can't get
- any feel for their format. Any takers on this one?
-
- They are, indeed, sixel files. Very "vanilla" sixel files, in fact.
-
- Sixel format is widely, and well, documented, and I don't propose to repeat
- the documentation here.
-
- The posting you may be thinking of is my recent (27-Aug) posting of sixjet,
- a sixel-to-HP PCL converter. It would really not be appropriate for me to
- post it yet again.
-
- My address is pso@phobos.as.utexas.edu (just in case this news reader
- is not formatting the header properly).
-
- Good move!
