- I posted a similar query recently (thanks to those who replied). My
- problem was that OS/2 2.0 would _crash_ as soon as I loaded a DOS
- packet driver in a DOS session, even when using a full DOS image.
- Then I came across the following:
-
- "I've run network and CD-ROM drivers in a DOS 5.0 virtual DOS machine
- under OS2 2.0, although, as I reported last time, some network
- adapters (ie. Tiara and Interlan) worked in this configuration while
- others (ie. Novell and Xircom) did not."

-
- This led me to suspect my Novell-compatible network card (although
- this has no problems under pure DOS). Sure enough, after replacing it
- with a Western Digital card, everything worked fine (at least, so far
- so good). One thing I'm not sure about, though, is why the system
- load, as indicated by the PULSE applet, stays at 100% while the DOS
- session is running. (?)
