- It's a little better than before. Start pulse, then the old telnet...
- you get a solid line across the top of pulse, even when telnet is
- just waiting for input. The telnet from the CSD still takes up a
- lot of CPU time when it's doing something like screen updates, but
- at least it doesn't suck up CPU when waiting for input.

- Having just said that, I notice that this behavior isn't consistent.
- In about 1 session in 10, a telnet session WILL suck up CPU time even
- when idle. Doesn't seem to depend on the remote computer, and it doesn't
- change behavior after starting (you know right away if there's a problem).
