I want to use the IBM TCP/IP with SLIP via a dialup terminal server
that requires me to
  - establish the connection
  - login to the server
  - issue a special command to put the server in slip mode
  - parse a returned character string to determine my internet address
  - ifconfig my interface to use this address
This must be a common situation for dialup users. Has somebody put
together a REXX script or connection program they'd be willing to
share?
