- After a week of frustration, I now have the SMC8013/SMC8000
- ODI driver working with the netware requester (and also working with
- FTP Software's ODINSUP support).
-
- Previously I was getting the error:
-
- NWD0115 Error getting connection ID 0x880F.
-
- After talking to SMC Tech support (800) NET-LEAD, I changed my
- interrupt from 2 to 10 and my ioport from 280 to 340. Memory address
- is still 0xcc00. I am using the SMC NORB211.EXE drivers from the SMC
- bulletin board.
-
- IT NOW WORKS!!!
-
- SMC suggested that my BIOS might be scrambling something as the
- my machine boots. I have an AMI 486/33 motherboard (with AMI bios obviously).
