- I have been having trouble with LaMail for quite a while now, but thought it
- would be corrected when I installed TCP/IP 1.2.1 (which includes LaMail 2.2).
- The problem is that when I try to look at a note from certain users, LaMail
- gets a TRAP D. I suspect it is having a little trouble parsing the address as
- it is rather long and utilizes several addressing techniques. Here is what
- the header of the note looks like (with names and nodes changed to protect
- the innocent):
-
- From @host.com:host1!user1%host2.com@secure.gateway.com Wed Sep 09 06:50:58 1992
- Return-Path: <@host.com:host1!user1%host2.com@secure.gateway.com>

- The original From address was 84 characters long if that is of any consequence.
- Also, it would appear that it was ESI that triggered the trap:
-
- ESI = 00003fff
- DSLIM = 00003fff
- CS:EIP = 0017:0000a18a
-
- Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
