- I am after some recommendations on backup devices and software
- for OS/2 2.0
-
- I have considered getting a Insite floptical drive, because it makes for
- easier archiving
- (you can access data without having to restore it to the HD).
- The down side is that you need to swap media during a full backup.
- (the floptical media holds about 20MB right?)
- What can anyone tell me about OS/2 support for flopticals?
-
- What are the options for cheap cartrige tape drives for PCs with >= 85MB
- capacity? OS/2 support? Software?
-
- What about backup software? The OS/2 backup command doesn't really seem
- adequate when compared to UNIX dump/restore or VMS backup.
- Does IBM have more fully featured backup software for their own tape drive
- products? Does IBM have any tape drive products for ISA bus machines?
