  29. Sometimes it happens -- a process seemingly goes "zombie."  What often
  30. cures the problem is running KillEm against the process.  Get ahold of
  31. KillEm 2.1 and Procs 2.1, both available via anonymous ftp from
  32. ftp-os2.nmsu.edu.  They are very handy utilities to have around.

  34. However, there's really no need to worry about it.  Just minimize the
  35. app and leave it be.  Work as you always do, then, when you're ready,
  36. Shutdown.  The next time you go into OS/2 just hold down left CTRL,
  37. left ALT, and F1 while the desktop is coming up.  That will prevent
  38. applications from automatically restarting -- see the FAQ List for
  39. details on alternative methods.

  41. A "zombie" hanging around isn't going to hurt anything -- just keep on
  42. working and ignore it.
