- I have a Lightning (or is it Lightcom?) v32bis internal modem at home.
- It has one feature that I find is a must for high speed transfers. It
- contains a 16550 UART on the card, so you can set COM3 buffer to AUTO.
- It really improves performance. If you get an internal modem, make
- sure it contains the new(er) UART.
-
- Has anyone seen any high speed modems with Hayes DMA mode? Would OS/2
- support this?
