- Hello!
-
- I have a NEC P5200, and as far as I can tell, there are no native drivers
- for OS/2 2.0 for it. However, a WinOS/2 IS included, but I still
- can't get it to work. None of the supposedly compatible Epson drivers work
- either. My config is kindof screwed: I have two multi i/o cards, one with
- one serial port active and two paralell ports (one serial inactive) and another
- with two serial ports active and the parallel port deactiveated. My printer
- is in lpt2: (my serial cable takes up too much space for my printer cable
- to be plugging in to lpt1: :) ). Has anyone else gotten ANYTHING to
- print with their P5200? I've tried the "Epson 24-Pin" driver and LQ-2500
- drivers, and neither worked. And yes, they are set for lpt2:. The
- printer makes it "initialization" sound when I print from OS/2, but then
- eventually comes up with an error. The winos/2 doesn't recognize I have
- a printer (and I have tried using IBM NULL). Thanks for any help!
