- Hi,
- This message coming to you via TE/2 at 19200 baud through a null
- modem cable. I'm hooked up to my dorm server by a null modem cable, and
- have been receiving background dl's at 1700 CPS with no problems. No
- crashes when I exit TE/2, although it takes TE/2 a heck of a while to exit.
-
- Of course, this does *nothing* to help you. I wish I could help. I just
- want to let you know that this isn't an impossible deal. It's worked fine
- for me from day one. Good luck.
-
- P.S. I used the default modem file for the null modem, and it seems to work.
- You may want to check your parity, data, and stop bits to make sure you've
- got them set up right for the machine you're talking to.
