I am pleased to see that there is such a wealth of information concerning OS/2 out here in the news! I have a question for all you OS/2 gurus: I run mostly Windows programs, and I run them in separate sessioned windows. When I click on the icon, it takes 'forever' for the program to load. The application alsotends to run a bit sluggishly.
I am currently running OS/2 on a 486/33DX with 8 megs of RAM, 256 KB mem. cache, and a 210 meg disk. I realize that OS/2 must have a lot to do when one requests a Windows program, but the slowness is rediculous. My question, will the upcomming CSD possibly fix this? It looks as though it will include WIN 3.1 code, which is MUCH faster than 3.0.
