  12. I have an error with an IBM 95 which I never had before with other models.

  14. I want to do change the icon of a folder in the WPS. I run "Find..." from
  15. the "Setting" dialog box. Then I click on the "Find" button on the "Find"
  16. dialog box to get all the icons on a given directory (they are 479).
  17. After a while the PC bips a lot and:
  18.  
  19. 1) the dialog box "Find Results" is shown and most of the icons are diplayed.
  20.    Of the last 20 there is only the name but not the icon. The last icon
  21.    displayed is all black.
  22.  
  23. 2) a dialog box with a WPS error message is diplayed saying:
  24.    "There is not enough memory to continue. ...etc... (PMV2001)"
  25.  
  26. 3) whenever I close this box, it keeps coming back and noting else is allowed
  27.    in the desktop. However Alt+ESC is allowed and the command shell works
  28.    regularly.

  30. Once after the point 1) the system hanged.

  32. Any idea of what causes the problem? Anything to do with the engineering
  33. change level (ECA053)?

  36. PS/2 95 XP
  37. 12M RAM (2x2 + 2x4)
  38. 200M disk free
  39. no fixes installed (swapper.dat, etc.)
  40. 3com 523
  41. Multiprotocol Adapter
