- Hello all!
-
- I am helping a friend installing OS/2 v.2.0 on his system which
- consists of a no-name 386DX/33Mhz/ISA installed with Plus Impulse AT
- drives (the 80 mg model) and have been encountering formatting errors
- (in the OS/2 installation process.) A call to Plus Development (now
- Quantum, I guess) did not turn up to many helpful info. (The local
- elders decided that we shouldn't have access to 900 #'s so it's
- impossible to dial the tech support line directly from our dorm
- phones. As a result we had to go through the regular number and they
- were not as responsive.) From what I can gather from them and the
- posts in this group, am I right to conclude that this particular model
- can't be used as a primary drive for OS/2 using either HPFS or FAT?
- Can it be used as a secondary drive? If yes, what would be an ideal
- setup?
-
- Many thanx in advance,
-
