- There's a program called "KILLEM" around (hobbes or wherever). Whenever WPS
- grinds to a halt I just go to one of my command windows & type "Killem
- PMSHELL" & watch the effect you noted.
-
- Recently I was away for 9 nights. I left my system running, mainly so I wouldn't
- miss anything from comp.binaries.os2. Being afraid that WPS would lock, I
- left ALARMS running & set to do a KILLEM daily at 5am. On my return I was
- surprised to see everything up and running.
-
- Of course, this all works because PMSHELL is not presentation manager, just
- one application, a shell that PM runs. Against that, I've never known PM itself
- to crash.
