- Brain dump:
-
- IBM is stumped (at least for now).
-
- More details:
-
- OS/2 communication programs:
- ----------------------------
-
- OS/2 C-kermit, as it turns out, works a bit but dies with a SYS3175
- access violation when file transfers are attempted.
-
- The "garbage" described above under TE2 and PMCOMM turns out to have a
- more interesting flavor: some characters are sent and received ok,
- some aren't. The 'translation' that appears to be in effect is always
- consistent.
-
- TE2 generates traps (0) when ALT-X is used to exit. I gave IBM the trap
- stuff today.
-
- DOS communication programs under OS/2:
- --------------------------------------
- MS-KERMIT dies a horrible death sometimes when I try to use it.
-
-
-
- Something is definitely weird; I've got to have this serial
- communication line if I'm going to use OS/2. Ideas?
