  18. Easy to do, if you start CMD.EXE as your Workplace Shell.  You can
  19. launch the WPS as an app, and shut it down again, without affecting any
  20. other running apps.  I do it all the time.

  22. The WPS shell really is just another app (though, IMO, IBM does not
  23. provide enough support for running without the beast--something I hope
  24. that they consider changing in a future release.)

  26. IBM!  Major missing feature alert!!  I need some way to save the state
  27. of the WPS *without* shutting down the system!!!
