- Aha! But this is how I think IBM is handling things right. We can download
- patches right from ftp as they are released and don't need to buy a new
- version to get the fix'ns. And for those without internet access, IBM
- have setted up local BBSs all over so that you can dial a local number
- and download the patches from these BBSs. And some of these BBSs has
- spawned off to local user groups.... etc. This has worked wonderfully
- and I'm really impressed with IBM's effort in OS/2 to make sure all us
- owners are happy campers. I just keep checking the BBSs and ftp sites
- for new fixes by IBM or third party people and keep my OS/2 uptodate.
- In fact, I think OS/2 is the most uptodate software I have since it gets
- constantly updated with new stuff and don't cost me a cent either.
