- Some good news... I have made an OS/2 2.0 800x600x16 generic
- display driver. It is supposed to support all adapters that are
- supported by SVGA.EXE. I have tested this driver on both an ATI
- and a Paradise adapter. I know somebody who will test it on
- a Trident card. So right now I am looking for owners of:
-
- .Video 7
- .Tseng
-
- adapters, to beta test it. These people should have access
- to email to receive uuencoded files, or, even better, to
- BITNET. Please contact me directly to joe2@vnet.ibm.com
-
- NOTE: THIS IS NOT AN OFFICIAL IBM DRIVER. I am doing it during
- my spare time. And before I am asked, this driver will not support
- seamless windows, since to do so you need a special Windows driver
- as well. This driver is still 16bit, but has the new 2.0 cursors,
- default colors, etc.
