- I'm not positive what you mean by "driver". If you mean basic COM support,
- the base OS/2 COM driver will have no problem supporting a rate of 57.6K.
- If you are talking about application programs, such as terminal emulators,
- then yes, you will need to get such a program. OS/2 communication programs
- shouldn't have a problem with 57.6K, but I'm not so sure about the DOS Box(es)
- so if you have to use a DOS COM program, that might be a problem.

- Also - you probably have a specific modem in mind, but not all v32bis
- modems (the v32bis=14.4K, v42bis is compression) support local DTE rates
- of 57.6K yet. For example, the USRs don't, although the Telebits do. Of
- course, with a base of 14.4K, even with terrific compression I don't think
- you'll be getting up to a 57.6K rate until the v.fast stuff comes out, so
- the local DTE of 38.4K on the USRs isn't that bad.
