  13. I recently purchased a copy of OS/2, and to be honest, it's been a PAIN to 
  14. install.

  16. After getting numerous errors, I finally was told that my old AMI BIOS needed
  17. to be upgraded.  So, I got a new BIOS, MR BIOS Version V1.36.

  19. I started up the installation process again and it froze on disk 1. The error
  20. was that there is an internal processing error at location ##0160:fff6453f -
  21. 000d:953f
  22.  
  23. Help!  IBM's support is terrible (they told me that I should turnoff my shadow
  24. RAM, but I don't have any!).  FYI, I have a standard 386/33.

  26. BTW, for the memory addressing, I've always been used to four digit aaaa:bbbb
  27. segment:offset addressing.  I was kind of surprised with the error.  Using
  28. a 32-bit register for the offset?
