  13. Could a kind soul who has Novell Requester for OS/2 2.0 and
  14. IBM's TCPIP package working together help me out? (!)

  16. (I know of the existence of comp.os.os2.networking ... 
  17. My news program does not appear to recognize it as a 
  18. legitimate group ... I should talk to the people
  19. running the NNTPSERVER ... but that is another story!)

  21. I just got the requester package from Novell. I am still
  22. struggling with it ... may have to try and solve my problems
  23. all by myself.  Calling Novell for help   
  24. would mean a drain on my financial resources ...

  26. (I was told technical help from 1-800-NETWARE is not free ....
  27. I am supposed to go back to the original dealer from which our
  28. university bought the Novell Server 3.11 for help with the
  29. requester package that I bought from Novell directly ...

  31. Atleast one dealer I talked with had no idea that there was
  32. a requester package for OS/2 2.0  ... and THEY ARE GOING TO
  33. HELP ME? (!)

  35. I understand Novell not being interested in helping me with
  36. configuring the Requester and IBM's TCPIP ... but NO DIRECT
  37. HELP WITH THEIR OWN REQUESTER PROGRAM?

  39. Sounds like IBM in the bad old days... IBM used to tell me
  40. the same thing ... If you have a problem please call the
  41. dealer ... Do not call us ... IBM has changed, Novell needs
  42. to change.

  44. I wish IBM sold Novell's requester package ... it would be
  45. better supported ...
