  15. I was using OS/2 fine until one day, an icon blacked out, and subsequently
  16. disappeared.  Knowing there was a patch for this, I applied it.  Now, tho,
  17. the WPS refuses to load.  After the watch mouse cursor, nothing happens,
  18. even though C-Esc will bring up an empty task list.  Booting from floppies 
  19. and changing RUNWORKPLACE setting from PMSHELL.EXE to 4OS2.EXE and rebooting
  20. will give a command line window.  What's up?  Somebody please tell me how
  21. to get WPS working again - I do not want to reinstall again.  My system:
  22. 386/25 w/ 8MB, 86MB Seagate IDE, Cardinal VGA700 (ET4000 based - has current
  23. VSVGA patches) using Orchid's .95 1024x768x16 driver.
