- Hi Y'all,
- I have recently been playing with OS/2 and am having some problems
- with, it seems, my path. I have added two items to my workplace menu which
- is shown with a click of the right mouse button on the desktop, a DOS Window
- and an OS/2 window. I used the find and locate options under
- settings/menu/create. I choose the Icons/objects for the respective windows
- in the Command Prompts folders. In order to be able to make this choice
- in the first place it is necessary that I have Command Prompts open:
-
- This is what I do:
- I open the Commands Prompt folder.
- On the menu I choose settings.
- Then Create.
- Then Find.
- Then Locate.
- I choose Command Prompts.
-
- Then Find on this folder.
- It gives me the various Command Prompt objects.
-
- I choose the one I went and select OK.
- I close the window and it is on Menu at the bottom.
-
- All seems great. However, upon selection I get a bunch of error menus and
- then the command prompt. everything seems to work and my environment even
- appears OK. The error messages consist of:
- Invalid command...
- Can't find command.com where specified???
-
- Any suggestions would be appreciated, thanks.
-
- Erik
