  14. This question has probably been asked before, but I've not
  15. been reading news lately.

  17. I use OS/2 on a 486/33 with Adaptec 1542B and Quantum SCSI-HD.
  18. I also own a streamer type Wanktek 5525ES (525MB SCSI-streamer).
  19.  
  20. Now I try to get two programs to work:
  21.   * GNU Tar for OS/2
  22.   * The DOS-version of SYTOS PLUS
  23.  
  24. I also have the latest beta version of the ASPI4OS2.DMD driver.
  25. Nevertheless, after installing the driver (BASEDEV=ASPI4OS2.DMD)
  26. and the GTAR driver (DEVICE=ASPITAPE.SYS) the GTAR driver
  27. prints "Cannot attach to SCSIMGR$".
  28.  
  29. I've tried to vary the command line parameters of AHA154X.DMD,
  30. but without success.
  31.  
  32. So, why does the d*mn thing don't work?
