- I have a (little) problem with the new TSENG LABS DRIVERS from Hobbes.
-
- My system:
- 386DX, genuine tseng labs card, Qume noninterlaced monitor.
-
- I have NONE of the patches installed with respect to video.
- (I have the original vsvga, vvga, bhsvga etc.)
-
-
-
- When I installed the new drivers, I had all the patches installed even
- the one regarding the "black icon problem". (ORCHID DRIVERS)
-
- When I first started OS2 with the new drivers (1024x768) the icons
- were rather big on the desktop and in the windows.
- So I set the small size icons and then I had some black icons and some normal
- (small) icons. (even generic OS2 ones were black ........).
-
- So i thought, to change the "black icon patches" to the original ones.
- But the problem did not disappear.
- (And I changed all other patches). I am still able to swap between
- full and windowed DOS sessions, no problem here.
-
- The drivers perform fine......
-
-
- Except the icons are huge (like the ones in 640 mode).
- So I changed to 800x600 and the icons were fine, but an amazing
- flicker on the screen, so no help there.
-
- The icon in the upper left corner of the windows is big too, but the
- minimize/maximize icon on the right side stay small, leaving a gap in
- the corner of the window.
-
-
- ANY IDEA ??????????
