  12. I have experience some weird WorkPlace problems in OS/2.
  13. I have setup a few icons to run batch files (eg running telnet) and
  14. place them on the desktop (shadowed from their appropriate folders).
  15. Occasionally, I get no response from clicking on the icons, even trying
  16. to change their settings may not work when this happens. If they response,
  17. their setting menu will be brought up and changing them to the right settings
  18. does not help. Only solution I have found so far is to bring up OS/2 Window
  19. (or Full screen) and kill the PMSHELL process (second one using one of the
  20. Process Status utilities found in OS/2 ftp sites) with KILLEM. Once killed,
  21. the whole workplace will close before starting up again. This will restore
  22. everything to their proper operation.
