- I am attempting to install os2 on a 386dx with 8 meg RAM 40 meg free
- on the harddisk.
-
- 1st I tried installing just os/2, got to the point where it says
- something about time to configure the system, and INSTALL.EXE died
- with an error number 3176.
-
- 2nd I tried to install with the boot manager (at least the dos half
- would be working). Got to Disk #7 and it died with the following:
-
- The system detected an internal processing
- error at location ##0160:fff6453f - 000d:a53f.
-
- 60000, 9084
-
- 038600d1
- internal revision 6.307, 92/03/01
-
- Can anybody tell me why? What to do? etc.
-
- Thanks
