- Hi all, here's the situation. I have a 486/50 EISA with an EISA IDE 32 bit
- controller attached to a 245 meg Seagate IDE drive, and a Future Domain
- 8-bit TMC-830 SCSI card attached to a Rodime 100 meg SCSI drive. Surprise of
- surprises, both drives work together in harmony under DOS/Windows. And
- they also work fine under OS/2, with one exception. For some reason, any
- time I access the Rodime within OS/2, EVERYTHING else stops. Accessing the
- darn thing seems to take 100% of the system, I can't even move the mouse...it
- jerks around the screen trying to keep up with my hand. I have the TMC-830
- card set to IRQ5...nothing else is on IRQ5 to the best of my knowledge. Does
- anyone have any idea why this is happening? When I access the Seagate, things
- move along beautifully. Thanks for any help...
