  20. The HPFS patch won't do a thing for non-HPFS drivs (like floppies).
  21. The IBM1FLPY.ADD patch may help, but I thought it was only for 360K
  22. disks.  If your CMOS settings are wrong, OS/2 might try formatting it
  23. to the wrong capacity.  Also try using the "/F:1.2M" parameter to
  24. force the capacity.  Be sure the disk is an HD - if you're trying to
  25. format a 360K disk, you'll need to specify the "/F:360K" parameter.

  28. As for consolidating the patches, that's what the CSD is.  When it
  29. ships, all the patches (and many that you haven't seen yet) will be
  30. provided in one place.  It will have it's own install facility.
  31. Historically, CSD's are installed by booting the first CSD diskette
  32. and doing what it says from there.

  34. All the patches you've seen so far are pre-release or beta patches.
  35. They're only meant for users who are experiencing problems.  The rest
  36. of us will get them when the update pack ships.
