- I've had some luck with this:
- 1. Absolutely do all the things in the readme file. (I forget what they are
- off hand)
-
- 2. Run Civilization in a Fullscreen DOS session.
-
- 3. Do NOT attempt to run Civ more than once in the same session (exit the vdm
- and start another). If you ignore this, the animation during the subsequent
- runs will be horribly slow.
-
- 4. Do NOT attempt to create WPS object to launch the game. I always get the
- Divide by 0 if I attempt that, I gave up creating an object that puts me
- in my ...\games\civ directory and then I type "civ" to start it. This is
- not so bad considering the "1", "1", "1" that has to follow.
-
- 5. The EGA version does not have any problems at all (except that it is not
- fun to play :-).
-
- Enjoy,
- Joe
