- I didn't find this info specifically addressed in the OS/2 'docs' or in our
- faq. I know Win OS/2 doesn't come with 3.0 applets like notepad or write etc
- and the 'auto migration' of those apps just makes program entry which points
- to the actual MS Windows directory and program. Now I want to get rid of
- Windows and retain those applets for Win OS/2. As an example I tried just
- copying notepad.exe to my Win OS/2 directory and pointed the program entry
- to it, but it wants something else, some other file or something. How is
- all this accomplished?
-
- *I'm simplifying a bit because I actually erased win 3.0 and install 3.1
- (not letting it trash my win/os2) and am attempting to just copy my 'old' 3.0
- applets to Win OS/2, since it doesn't seem to like the 3.1 version(s) of those.
-
- thanks to all
