  29. Why does one need to set the IRQ to 5?  I think mine is set on 7
  30. which is the default (I think).  However, when playing Wing Commander
  31. II I have noticed that I only get the first 1/2 second or so of 
  32. digitized voices coming over the "radio" (i.e. "affir"  instead of
  33. "affirmative captain") - would changing the IRQ affect this?  If not
  34. is there any way to get it to work?

  36. All in all, WC2 is a buggy program and used to crash my 386 all the 
  37. time.  It doesn't even run on my 486-33 under dos, but under os/2
  38. it runs fine with the exception of the digitized voice problem.  It
  39. does crash occasionally with a sys3176 error, but I fault the program
  40. not OS/2, and now I can simply close off the dos box and start it 
  41. again instead of having to reboot my computer like i used to!

  43. I also don't like the lingering sound problem.
