- [ Pardon for the crosspost, but I'm new to OS/2 2.0 and the comp.os.os2
- hierarchy. ]
-
- For the past year, I've run a BBS under DOS and Windows. The problem,
- as you can guess, is that this arrangement is slow as heck. What I'd
- like to do is move the BBS to OS/2, using e.g. BinkleyTerm and Maximus/2.
-
- However, if there's one thing my callers love, it's door games. And
- there aren't any good ones for OS/2. The favorites -- Alpha Colony,
- PimpWars, etc. -- all run under DOS.
-
- Thus my question: Is it possible to run DOS door games from an OS/2
- BBS window? Are there any problems in spawning, say, PimpWars from
- the Maximus/2 window?
-
- (I'm wondering mostly about technical concerns, e.g. comm port
- arbitration, etc.)
-
- Any information you can give would be appreciated! Please send e-mail
- rather than posting; I'll summarize to the net if there's interest.
