- I had a Trident 8900B VGA card and experienced problems with full
- screen mode. I tried all fixes available in hobbes but card lost
- sync every time I tried full screen DOS screen. Win-OS2 worked ok.
-
- I got bored with that and bought a cheap Viewtop ET4000 VGA card.
- It is fast and cheap, but.. with all Tseng fixes at hobbes, I cannot
- get DOS full screen mode work any better. Interesting point is that
- when I click DOS full screen, my multisync clicks and I can see texts
- on screen partially (e.g. I can guess there reads 'Dos full screen' etc.
- Screen flickers and shakes. Ctrl-Alt-Del leaves card into disturbed
- state, so I have to press reset after C-A-D. When I boot next time
- the DOS session is loaded into background, of course and it works
- fine if I change to it with Ctrl-Esc; It seems that driver and mode is
- fine, but something is done in the middle when session is started and
- that breaks up the VGA function.
-
- Am I the only one with these problems or has anybody any cure for this?
